DOCX
DOCX is a Ukrainian platform that helps hospitality and food businesses navigate bureaucratic processes — from permits and documentation to operational compliance. In 2021–2022, I worked on creating a series of creative collage visuals for the project’s Instagram and website.
The goal was to move away from the typical visual language of accounting and legal services and instead communicate with a younger generation of restaurant and café owners. As part of the project’s rebranding, a character named Wooty — a duck mascot — was introduced and became the central element of the visual storytelling. At the same time, the founder of the platform, Alina, also became the face of the brand and appeared as a key character in many of the collages.
I developed a playful collage-driven visual style that combined photography, graphic elements, the Wooty character, and images of the founder to create engaging digital content. The challenge was to translate complex bureaucratic topics into visuals that felt approachable, relatable, and visually distinctive, helping the platform stand out in a field traditionally dominated by conservative corporate design.
